Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is a cash assistance program administered by the Social Security Administration for elders (over age 65) and disabled individuals of all ages. SSI is administered by the Social Security Administration and the Department of Transitional Assistance and assists eligible Massachusetts residents to receive SSI benefits.
Transitional Aid to Families with Dependent Children (TAFDC)
Transitional Aid to Families with Dependent Children (TAFDC) provides cash assistance to families with children and pregnant women in the last 120 days of pregnancy, with little or no assets or income.
