Whether you are caring for an older adult, a person with a disability, or a loved one with health needs, you are not alone. We created this page to give you quick access to tools, programs, and support that can make caregiving a little easier.
These resources are not provided directly by the Executive Office of Aging & Independence, but they are trusted services from across the Commonwealth.

National Family Caregivers Association (NFCA) / Caregiver Action Network
A national group providing tips, education, and support for family caregivers.
Family Caregiver Alliance
Provides caregiver tips, fact sheets, and resources for caregiving across many health conditions.
Developmental Disabilities Support
Family Supports – Department of Developmental Services (DDS)
Support services for families caring for loved ones with intellectual or developmental disabilities at home.
Caregiver Training & Education
Healthy Living Center of Excellence | Programs
Free caregiver classes that teach skills, stress management, and ways to build support.
Personal and Home Care Aide State Training (PHCAST)
Free training for anyone who is interested in becoming a home care aide or learning how to care for an individual or a family member, including skills to safely support older adults and people with disabilities in their homes. This training helps build the paid and unpaid workforce and offers a great starting point for new caregivers.
